Wimbledon Park Co-op aims to adopt the principles of the Freedom of Information Act
2000 (FOIA) and the forthcoming Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements
(STAIRs), to promote transparency in how we manage housing services on behalf of
Wandsworth Council.
This policy covers recorded information relating to:
- repairs & maintenance
- estate services
- rent collection & arrears
- tenancy management
- governance & decision-making
- performance monitoring

We will routinely publish:
- key policies (data protection, repairs, ASB, complaints)
- performance reports
- service standards
- budgets and financial summaries
- meeting minutes (with personal data removed)
(Allocation policy is held by Wandsworth Council.)
Requests may be made by:
- letter
- an online form (where available)
Requests should include the requester’s name and an address for correspondence.
We will acknowledge requests within 5 working days.
We aim to provide a full response within 20 working days.
We may refuse or redact information where disclosure would release:
- personal data
- legally privileged material
- commercially sensitive information
- staff HR information
- information prohibited from disclosure by law
- information intended for future publication
Information will usually be provided free of charge.
Costs may be applied for large-scale printing or copying in line with ICO guidance.
If someone is unhappy with our response, they may request an internal review by the

If still dissatisfied, they may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for an
independent decision: https://ico.org.uk/.
