The Management Committee is made up of a volunteer board of leaseholders and council tenants who care about the estate and want to ensure the Co-operative is well managed. The Committee is responsible for employing the estate office staff, contractors, and the overall running of the estate.
Below are some of the key management committee roles.
Chair
The chairperson helps guide the committee to ensure the Co-operative’s operations run smoothly. They lead meetings, support good decision-making and work to make sure the committee is effective for the benefit of the estate.
Secretary
The Secretary keeps the Co-op organised. They assist in the administration of meetings, record key decisions, and ensure the committee communicates effectively.
Treasurer
The Treasurer oversees the Co-operative’s finances. They provide regular financial updates to the committee and direct the Co-op’s annual budget. Together with members of the finance sub-committee, the Treasurer reviews invoices received by the estate office and approves those for payment.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the management committee board, or wish to get in touch with existing members, please contact the estate office.
